Today was our last day in Mexico, and while it was a free day(shopping, beach etc.) we know that we are still on mission and our days are purposeful, even when we step back on Tennessee soil. Tonight we had a farwell dinner with everyone who played a part on this trip. It was a great time hanging out with each other, taking some last pictures, enjoying memories, laughing and crying.
Tomorrow we head out early for breakfast on the beach and then head to the airport to come home!! See you then! :)

Here are a few snip-its from some of our team on our last night here in Mexico. Here are their thoughts, lessons learned, etc.
Our team came here to minister to the people of Mexico. God has done an amazing work in and through us during our time here! But, we have been blown away by the hospitality of the Mexican people! They give and serve and give again! I personally have been very humbled and blessed by the genuine love and generosity of everyone around us here! They truly are family. God has been doing a great work in Mexico and is still working His plans. I don't want to leave. I will not forget to pray for my family here! Yo amo a Mexico! *nikki*
Hey family!!! we are here at Lilia's, this is our last night here and I am very very sad(sorry mom, but i think i'm going to "lose" my passport) This trip has been a life experience for me as well as the New Song team! i have to say that my favorite part of the trip was meeting all the kids and playing with them and seeing how well they accepted us into their homes!! There was this one family in Elota that took us to their home so that they could do something for us... while we were there they brought us food and drinks and it just so sweet!! I will miss them all very very much but I am also glad to come home(I wish I could bring them all home for you too meet them!) see you all in about 9 hours!

Hello friends and family! This trip to Mazatlan, Mexico has been such a great time sharing and ministering God's Word, love, and power through families. The best part about this trip were the outreaches we did in Escuinapa, the Tepehuane Village, and even in Elota. The kids there were so much fun! We led worship, performed a dance and a drama, and even a few people shared our testimonies with the people. God really changed my life by not complaining. I complain so much everyday about nothing! Every time I wake up in the morning, I worry about what am I going to wear or what am I going to eat. And the people at the village have nothing! The Lord spoke to me about what these people at the village there have. Thank you for reading and praying for us! We will see you tomorrow!

Wow! Mexico was/is awesome, God has been doing great things in the hearts of the people here. My favorite thing for me on this trip is seeing their hearts of worship. They are so free and unhindered in their worship, I want to become an unhindered worshiper like the Mexicans.

Hey friends and family! First of all I just wanted to say what an incredible experience this trip has been for me personally. I have loved getting to know all of the people here and having the Lord draw us so close as a team. The people here have been so generous and kind. They have so little and yet are so willing to share what they do have with people that they hardly know. We have been so blessed to have such godly, loving people to surround us and take us into their homes. The Lord has done amazing things here in Mexico. We have gotten to see people saved and we have gotten to minister God's love, and as we have been ministering here so many people have ministered to us as well. I am so sad to leave, but I am so expectant to see what God does in all of our lives as we go home again. I love you all so much!

Hola! Como Estas!? I miss you all so much! But then I feel right at home here in Mexico. I already miss everyone here, and I haven't even left yet! These couple weeks have felt like a few days. We hit the ground running; literally. I am soo blessed to have had the opportunity to come down and serve. The Lord has worked in and through all of us as a team and personally. (which we will all get to share how once we see your beautiful faces!) I feel like this is my second home and I am excited to see how Mexico is involved in my future. I love and miss you all! See you guys tomorrow night!
Blessings!!

We came to Mexico full of faith & expectancy for all that the Lord would do in & through us during our twelve days here, and He has not disappointed us! We have had so many incredible opportunities to pray with people to receive Christ, be healed, delivered & set free. I have been so humbled by these beautiful people and their willingness to receive a group of strangers from another country so warmly and to see their hunger for Jesus. I have been surprised by the ways the Lord has shown up in ways & places that I wasn't even expecting, and I am confident I will be learning from all that has taken place here long after we return home. We are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!!!!!

This Morning i was reflecting on what happened in the last 12 days of us being here at Mexico. The word that rang my mind so loud is "Faithful". God is so faithful. Each and everyone of us was hand picked by the Lord to be on this trip. We saw that in our unity, love for another and the peace of Jesus that surpassed everything. The enemy tried his best to oppose in different, yet unsuccessful ways. We conquered the adversary because we stood firm and believed in the word of the Lord for us on this trip. We saw hope restored to many people, peace reigned in the villages we went to and we saw chains broken and lives healed. I believe that the Holy Spirit in us empowered us to do all what He called us and wanted us to do. I personally felt at home here. I had never expected that i would go to a mission trip to mexico, but i fell in love with the people here and it was so great getting to know them and learning about their culture more. Praise God for diversity. This was very humbling to me to see complete and total strangers take us in and welcome and love us in the way they did. I'm so blessed to have family here in Mexico... Looking forward to seeing you all later today!

What a beautiful place we have been at for the past twelve days. I am still taking it all in. The Lord has used us in ways we weren't expecting, showed us so much and helped us to see a bigger perspective of how He is at work and how we can join Him in that. Besides this beautiful country, I feel like the people we have met, formed relationships with, ministered alongside and learned from are even more beautiful. Tengo una famila aqui. (I have a family here) I have learned so much about relationships and how God values them while on this trip. As I sat tonight at our 'farewell' dinner (where we were able to remind ourselves of what God has done and thank all who have made this trip possible) I looked around at the beauty of those who we have met and come to love and my heart was overwhelmed with love and graciousness. The people of Espiritu y Verdad are wonderful and have great hearts willing to serve the Lord. They welcomed us on the first day and now I don't want to leave. I know our time has come to an end here, but that does not mean our hearts are far from each other- Pastor Joe & Laurie, Pastor Alfonso, Erica & Alfonsito, Lilia & J.R., Johnny, Carlos & family, Nena, Pastor Pepe, Pastor Jorge & family, Espiritu y Verdad youth group....the list goes on and on. This has been an amazing trip, and I am so thankful for the other 16 team members who I have walked alongside as well. As John Hall said tonight, the harmony, unity, love and heart you have to serve the Lord has made it a GREAT team. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the Lord. It has not gone unnoticed. Love you all!
