Preparing, Building & Praying

Ten days until our departure.  It seems almost surreal because for the past two months our team has been preparing for the trip.  I didn't think the day would ever get here, but it is quickly approaching.

We have been building unity in the Spirit, and learning to trust God in what we are learning.  The worship team, dance team, and drama team have put many hours into building ministry elements of song, dance, and drama to be ready to hit the road running.  When we arrive in Mexico there will be no down time. We will be ministering the same night after meeting at 4 a.m. to head to the airport.  There will be grace, and EVERY minute of practice WILL be worth it.  Hearts will be challenged and lives will be changed.

Prayer changes everything. We must be people of prayer if we want to be effective in reaching the lost.  We believe that God is going to answer what we have petitioned of Him.  We have already seen funds brought in and the prayers for provision for our team members are continually being answered. Please partner with us and pray for divine opportunities in Mexico. Pray for the people to have open hearts, for bondages to be broken, and lives to be radically changed with the truth of
the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This past Sunday we had a Mexican Fiesta at the Maxwell home.  It was so great to spend time with the team outside of practices and team meetings.  We all brought items to share a taco salad lunch together.  Carol even made us a tres leches cake for dessert!  After lunch, Nikki and Chris taught the team how to rumba...which was lots of fun.  Here are a few pictures from the day.
